How To Make A Solar Oven For Almost Free

What you will need is a cardboard box with fitting lid, piece of glass, insulated cardboard box, tape, clear plastic bag, and cutting knife.

First, fit the insulation inside of the cardboard box, and spray with non-toxic spray paint the color black.

Next, cut out the cardboard lid a spot to place the glass.  Glue or tape the glass to the lid.

Finally, your oven is ready.  That was easy!  Now, when you cook your food put it in a zip-loc bag, and put the food inside a black metal cooking pot.  This will absorb most heat.  The food is slow to cook, so put it out about 10am and depending on the food, check it by 3pm.  If all is good you will have a tasty meal, cooked using the power of the sun.
